This is a rose sparkling wine made with native Turkish grapes of the Cal Karasi varietal.  I’m told rose wines are hard to do properly and this was drunk via a taste testing.  Being the newbie wine drinker this one certainly meets the price point of affordability and good tasting.  Everyone was harping of the light salmon colour and this is one rose wine without food colouring.  Food colouring seems to be the norm in wine making along with sufites to make it taste good and look the part.  I enjoyed the wine and paired it with apples and bananas.  It can also be drunk on its own which is what I did and its perfect for an empty stomach.
