Dips: Hummus and Tzaztiki

Posted: October 19, 2014 in lunch, snack

Summer is over and Winter is coming.  Carbs loading is one of the more healthier diets and an easy meal is bread and dip.  It’s light tasting, served cold and easy to digest.  Dips cost a small fortune to eat in Hong Kong but its surprisingly simple to make.

HK has a pita bread maker too – World Food by Habibi Cafe.  6 pieces for $30. Support local.

Hummus is garlic, chick peas and tahini blended together.  One can of chick peas, multiple gloves of garlic and 3 tablespoons of tahini.

Tzaztiki is garlic, cucumbers, dill and yogurt.  Rough chop on the cucumbers and dill.
