Woolloomooloo is a restaurant gastropub in Taipei’s business district of Xin Yi.  Woolloomooloo plays to the owner’s Australian roots.  The highlight of the meals would be the service of the staff, they are accomodating.  I don’t drink coffee and my breakfast voucher stipulates I must order coffee.  Staff were willing to allow me to sub tea (cold brew oolong) for the coffee every single morning.

I ordered the most expensive breakfast option on the menu, like a typical oaf.  This is their famous brunch plate for $280 NT.  The struggle plate consists of stir fried onions, mushrooms, fried potatoes, sausage, tomato, eggs, avocado and homemade sour dough bread.

Cheese Toast – crushed by a panini press.  I only hope the bread was fresh as they did a wonderful job compacting so it fit nicely into my hand.  I would have preferred the bread more airy.

The coffees are suppose to be some of the best in Taiwan.  On the weekends, you will find the owner working the espresso machine.
