Tea eggs are a common sight along street food vendors. You will see the eggs in a old large rice cooker that is no longer used to cook rice. The lid is missing and a mountain of brown eggs sit on top with constant steam emitting from the giant vessel.   They range in price from $3-$5 and its great as a post workout snack or a quick breakfast to grab and go.  It’s a hard boiled egg with a cracked shell so tea can infuse it with flavour.  It’s safe to eat for all stomach conditions.
