Tai Po’s new Wet Market is renown for its fresh seafood.  There is massive square footage on the first floor devoted to fish mongers.  Most wet markets contain one to two rows of seafood purveyors.  Tai Po’s first floor is almost entirely all fresh seafood so rows upon rows selling anything fresh you can harvest out of the ocean.

On the third floor of the wet market is Tai Po’s cooked food centre.

Look for the vendor with all the yellow utensils.  They are the most busy during off peak hours.  Their specialty is shanghai style noodles (either thick or thin) with deep fried pork chop or chicken wings.  A bowl of noddles cost $28.  The other option is to order their beef brisket, beef assortment or wontons for $22.  Go with the deep fried variety as every table was ordering it.
