I’m trying to eat my way through HK’s Cooked Food Centres.  In this installment we are in the Western District by the Belchers development and Traders Shangri-La at the Shek Tong Tsui Cooked Food Centre.  Look for this sign – Kaen Koon Thai.

I ordered the Tom Yum soup for $60, it came with a plate of lettuce and vermicelli.  I love the soup here.

Beers cost $6, can do no wrong as such a cheap price point.

Fried Morning Glory with belachem sauce $30

Hainan Chicken rice for the chicken breast $40.  I love the thai taste on the traditional sauce, it just taste better.

There you have it, full meal for 2 people at $171.

It’s authentic and the price point is amazing.  The restaurant is a hidden gem.
